Abstract

This work makes a comparative analysis of the efficiency of the connection of a lattice knuckle to bolted and welded gusset sheet through mechanical tests, which will determine the effectiveness of the two technologies in relation to mechanical stress and execution time. Such an approach is justified by the lack of comparative research between work-related linkages. It is understood that, individually, the two means of attachment are extensively studied, but without the establishment of clear criteria that make the choice effective. Thus, the research aims to detail concepts related to the efficiency of each connection medium, comparing the performance of these in relation to the criteria force and execution time.
