HABITAÇÃO DE INTERESSE SOCIAL: Na construção de uma cidade mais democrática

Abstract

The present work presents the proposal of the implantation of Social Interest Housing in an useless areaof the central urban network of the municipality of Machado-MG, taking advantage of the existing infrastructure and equipment in order to guarantee the right to the city to the lower income population. The intention is to privilege the location of the dwelling, allowing the person to have access to an adequate quality of life, since there will be a quantity of resources around him that will meet his primary and secondary needs. The project proposes a vertical building of mixed use, of simple character, containing four blocks surrounding the central area of leisure and conviviality among the residents - the square, and the games and events hall on the lower floor. The front displays the premises favoring residents, such as the proposed sidewalk trade in order to activate the interaction and integration of the building with the neighborhood, through the commercial services offered by the residents themselves for their livelihood and the housing complex itself. The blocks have accessible units located at ground level and, in the rest of the floors, apartments with expansion capacity, so that the inhabitant has complete freedom to form his own environments according to his need, thus maximizing the housing of few footage.
