HABITAÇÃO ESTUDANTIL COM FOCO SOCIAL PARA O MUNICÍPIO DE VARGINHA, UTILIZANDO CONTÊINERES

Abstract

In recent years, the search for higher education training has been an option for many, and this increase is due to the implementation of programs such as FIES and PROUNI, which have increased their incentives and facilitated their entry into Higher Education Institutions. In this way, many students find themselves in need of moving from their home cities, encountering great difficulties, including searching for suitable housing, and due to several factors, can not afford to spend on conventional apartments. Universities need to be prepared to assist new students by incorporating them into the student environment. Thus, through a theoretical research on the subject, analysis of references of projects and the search for novelties in constructive technologies, a study was developed on the typologies of housing for students, being possible to draw a diagnosis about the city of Varginha-MG for the implementation of a student housing model, which ensures integration among students, and is applicable to the teaching institutions of the municipality, always seeking the dynamization of the construction process, rationalization, variability, sustainability and other factors. With this conceptual basis, the idea arises of using an alternative constructive system, in containers in the architecture of student housing.
